To explain Global Issues could be simple. You could just say "Oh, they're just issues happening globally. It's pretty bad." but to say that would be a lie. Why? Because they're not just pretty bad. They're terrible, horrendous, vile, corrupted, murderous, cruel, inequal, hypocritical and unacceptable. To put it simply, "pretty bad" isn't nearly powerful enough to express the true meaning of Global Issues. Global Issues are the problems worldwide that could easily be solved if everyone put a bit of effort into bringing a real grocery bag and saving an animal from choking on the plastic bag you were going to use. It could also be the shop that you always pass by that never has any customers even though they have food and supplies, better yet, fairly traded food and supplies that you need. Why does it have no customers? Because you are the one driving past it during your ride to Cold Storage. Why don't you try walking or biking to the store if it's close? You could save the ozone layer from several liters of smoke and the gas station around 55 liters of gas depending on your car.
We should all care for our world for its sake and for the future generations for if we keep this up, where will all those children live? They were meant to be born into a world of peace so that they can live a life of satisfaction and peace. They should, but will they? No. They will be born into a life of solitude. A place where they will forever be hungry until they day they slowly die of starvation because what will they eat or drink in that sea of trash that will take 500 years at least, to decompose? We must care about Global Issues and fix them as soon as possible in order to be able to have a sense of security and a healthy concience in a healthy, equal world.
