The Heaven Shop by Deborah Ellis
The Heaven Shop was a very well written book. The events that were happening around Bimbi or involved her were all either unpredictable or expected. I enjoyed the entire book and found all the events interesting and I liked how the author wrote the story in a way that is still effective, but not too dramatic that it will distract the reader from the plot.
The Paper Bag Game
I feel nervous about the game because is a competition of survival of the fittest. I feel anxious about competing against my classmates and surviving with such low wages (10 bags = 1 rupee), but I'm excited nonetheless.
I'd like to say to the future global issues students to enjoy this course and try to really think about what you're taught. This is probably the best wheel because it teaches you how to become a global citizen, but look forward to the activities you'll be doing. Enjoy this class, especially the Paper Bag game!
